Our newest members got their first taste of Baja at Orientation! From getting to know the team and learning what we do, to meeting the people they’ll be building, racing, and making memories with, we are very excited to have you all along for the ride. 🏎️

This is just the beginning. We can’t wait to see what this group brings to the team and to the next chapter of Golden Bear Racing. Welcome to the family, Golden Bears! 💛💙

It’s almost Baja time!! Monday, September 7, from 7pm-9pm in Sleith 100 (Wood Auditorium) is the first official Baja meeting of the school year. For new and returning SAE Baja members, no matter your major, come to orientation to learn what you can add to the team! 🏎️🏁

We want to thank JPS Composite Materials for their generous donation of carbon fiber and kevlar! These materials will go towards an exciting upcoming project this semester; stay tuned to find out what it is!! 🙏

Golden Bear Racing had the privilege of attending OMG Roofing’s monthly summer barbecue, where we proudly represented our team, showcased our Baja car, and connected with members of the company.

During the event, we were honored to present OMG Roofing with the first-ever Golden Bear Partner Award. This award recognizes sponsors whose unwavering support and commitment have helped our team thrive both on and off the track.

At Golden Bear Racing, we believe our success is built not only through engineering and competition, but through the incredible community that stands behind us. A huge thank you to Z2 Motorsports for supporting our team! Z2 Motorsports specializes in high-performance engine tuning, dyno testing, and performance upgrades for a wide range of vehicles.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to use their dyno for future testing and tuning of our Baja SAE car. This support will help us optimize our vehicle’s performance and continue improving our design.
