"You don't have to be gone to be going." - Pastor Tyler Mendoza

"Going" is one of the four fields we focus on at Springhill, and summer is filled with many opportunities sponsored by our church in order to faithful in this field.

Late last night, the final members of our Hernando team made it home and this Saturday morning, we will send out our Colorado team.

Yet, Pastor Tyler gave the reminder that the "going" field isn't just about the travel, and it's not just about the upcoming outreaches through our church. There are empty fields around us, ready to be planted with the gospel seed. And there aren't just some of us "called". It's the great commission for every believer...whether male or female, young or old. For me. For you.

Therefore, we continue to pray that the Lord will open our eyes to see the field, and that He "may open a door for our message..."

Lord, we cannot do this on our own. We need you. Will you go before us, open our eyes and help us to speak up in faith about the hope you have in Christ, who has defeated sin, death & shame? And will you open their hearts to surrender to You? May your Spirit move and change lives. And Lord, help us to be faithful in every field; in this field, too.

And there off! The Hernando Mission Team is on their way to Mississippi to partner with Gospel Life Church. Together they will host the Cockrum Community Fest on Saturday.

May we be faithful in every field.

By the grace of God, this year, our church is sending teams to share the hope of Christ all over the world!

This week, you can join in the great commission work, right here in our neighborhoods. On Wednesday evening, we will be going to our neighbors, inviting them to our Family VBS at the end of June, so they can hear the hope we have in Jesus Christ.

We will meet in the coffeehouse at 6, so we can split into teams.

We will have two different teams to choose from on Wednesday night.
Night of Hope team: Those going and inviting.
Night of Prayer team: Those staying at the church to praying for our neighbors, our going team, and VBS.

All ages are invited!
