3/17/26 We want to inform our community that there is currently a power outage at Springfield Health Center, 100 River Street. This affects patients with physical therapy and occupational therapy appointments scheduled for today.

At this time, we do not have a confirmed timeline for when power will be fully restored.

This past February 2026 our clinical education department hosted a virtual Community Health training for healthcare staff at Springfield Hospital and North Star Health with a focus on asthma best care practices. This statewide initiative, funded by the Department of Health was presented by UVMMC Pulmonologist and Director of Severe Asthma Clinic Dr. Brittany Duchesne, and Marguerite Warner, RRT, RCP. Nearly 50 participants joined us to learn, share insights, and strengthen their knowledge of caring for patients with asthma.
