Welcome to Sydenstricker UMC. We are a friendly, loving neighborhood church, where all are welcome! Please visit us.
We’re proud of our Methodist heritage of acceptance of a diversity of opinions, cultural traditions, ethnic backgrounds and beliefs within our church family. As United Methodist, we don’t apply a doctrinal purity test to our members; instead, we welcome everyone into our church family. We respect and learn from our differences and grow and work together in our communal journey of transformation and service. Whether you’re looking for answers to questions about God or you’re a committed Christian seeking to grow deeper in your faith. You will find a caring, welcoming home at Sydenstricker.

Pastor Don’s morning sermon, “My Body I Give You,” will focus on the promise of communion and why and how we are to receive it. The message for the evening service will delve deeper into the understanding of this holiest of sacraments. We will worship in person at 8:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. services will also be live streamed. Don’t forget to gather with us for our Fall Picnic following the 11:00 a.m. service!
