Cox College alumna Reese Hertel was recently featured by CoxHealth, sharing how the Graduate Nurse Residency program has helped her build her clinical skills and gain confidence as she begins her nursing career.

Congratulations to Cryslan (Tucker) Daughtry, OTD, OTR/L, a recent graduate of the Occupational Therapy program at Cox College, who is featured in the latest issue of ASHT Times, the magazine of the American Society of Hand Therapists!

Cryslan was interviewed for the publication’s Student Spotlight before graduating from Cox College. Her capstone team also has a poster accepted for presentation at the ASHT Annual Meeting next month in Milwaukee.

We’re proud of our Cox College alumni as they contribute to their professions and make a difference in the lives of their patients.

Cox College will be closed Monday, September 7th, in honor of Labor Day. Classes and business hours will resume, Tuesday, September 8th.

Congratulations to Cox College alumna Kristin Gerhardt, MS, RD, LD, of The Tasty Balance, for being voted Best Nutritionist by The Pitch KC!

Kristin is a 2019 graduate of the Nutrition Diagnostics Dietetic Internship program, and we’re proud to see her making her mark!

The August 2026 issue of The Pulse should begin arriving in mailboxes starting Monday, July 27th!

We do our best to keep our mailing list up to date, and we'd love to make sure you don't miss this issue.

This week, new signage for The Alliance for Healthcare Education was installed. Additional signs were also added at the north and northwest entrances, where major renovations continue. Scheduled for completion in September, the expanded space will provide more classrooms, simulation labs, and clinical learning environments for future healthcare professionals.

While the name on the building is changing, our commitment to students remains the same. This change will not affect students' progress toward their educational goals, and we look forward to seeing them continue to grow into the next generation of health care professionals.
