We very nearly have a full slate to present for PTO elections this year! We only have one position left with no nominations, so our proposed voting slate won’t look quite as complete and orderly as we’d like.

Come say hi and learn about YG at the Lunar New Year Celebration! We’re here doing some fun Year of the Horse origami until 2:00!

As of today, November 26, 2025, the YG PTO will keep a donation link open wherein 100% of any donations will be used to support families within our YG school community. Our goal with creating this giving back program, is to provide available funds whenever needed for members of our community and give us the ability to help provide necessities, a sense of security, and comfort to the members of our community who need it most.

Every dollar donated towards this fund will go towards a family within our school providing them with essentials and removing some stress from their plate, with funds being used for either purchasing items on behalf of recipients or will be utilized for such things as gas or grocery cards as needed and deemed appropriate. A small committee of YG staff will manage the distribution process while strictly maintaining the anonymity of all recipients.

We still need 5 volunteers for the Beverage Booth TOMORROW! (October 25th)

This is our biggest fundraiser which has earned us an estimate of $19,600 so far this year! If we do not meet our volunteer requirements UO does have the right to remove us from our booth!

10/11/2025 - UO vs Indiana Volunteer signup sheet

🚨 We still needs 6 more volunteers for YG's Beverage booth at the UO vs Indiana game THIS Saturday, October 11th!🚨

So far each game has been really well staffed which makes the day run fast and smooth and we would LOVE to see it again this week! 🤩

If we don't get enough volunteers, we risk losing our booth which means we lose funding specifically used for hosting interns, field trips, classroom supplies, and cultural events. Last season we earned over $30,000 from YG adults volunteering at the beverage booth! We can't earn anywhere near that amount with alternative school fundraisers, and we can't run this booth without volunteers! The University of Oregon has the right to remove us from our booth if we do not meet the volunteer requirements.

Our volunteer list is due to the University WEDNESDAY so please do not hesitate to sign-up!
