Since I got several emails last night with videos of "lightening," I want to kindly remind you that, if you're talking about storms, it's LIGHTNING. ⚡😁

FIRST ALERT WEATHER: rain will gradually wind down today as a front moves into Arkansas. Flooding is still possible either side of the MO/AR line this morning.

FIRST ALERT WEATHER: A broken line of showers and storms will gradually move southeast this morning with pockets of heavy rain. A flash flood warning is in effect until 9 am for Polk County where up to 4 inches of rain fell this morning.

FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY: Clouds will decrease this morning and allow for a hot and windy day. After ~5 pm, storms are expected to move into the far northern Ozarks with the potential for a tornado or two, golf ball size hail, and wind gusts of 60-70 mph.

FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Scattered showers and storms will move into the area from the northwest later this morning and afternoon.

FIRST ALERT WEATHER: A GORGEOUS day is on tap with most of us staying in the 70s! Our next chance of rain comes tomorrow with just a few showers.
