FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Low pressure is moving into Arkansas and will keep rain going for several more hours over Arkansas and southern Missouri. Localized flooding is expected.

FIRST ALERT WEATHER: rain will gradually wind down today as a front moves into Arkansas. Flooding is still possible either side of the MO/AR line this morning.

FIRST ALERT WEATHER: A broken line of showers and storms will gradually move southeast this morning with pockets of heavy rain. A flash flood warning is in effect until 9 am for Polk County where up to 4 inches of rain fell this morning.

FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY: Clouds will decrease this morning and allow for a hot and windy day. After ~5 pm, storms are expected to move into the far northern Ozarks with the potential for a tornado or two, golf ball size hail, and wind gusts of 60-70 mph.
FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Friday will be dry, windy, and hot for most of the area, with some severe storms possible by early evening in central Missouri.
