I miss you Toaster Lounge. So I wrote you this haiku

Once warm and tasty
you are now so far away
my toast is now stale

Toaster Lounge sincerely regrets the passing of an associate and dear friend, Mr. Steven Rogers. Although Steve's life was cut short by an unforgivable act of needless violence, the values Steve represented: tolerance and acceptance of those from all walks and ways of life, will live on in everyone fortunate enough to have met Steve during his life time. Let there be songs to fill the air... and the Lounge.

Hey gang! UIS elections are coming up, and the Council of Elders just wanna remind you to get out the vote and support the great Ryan Bouray! In addition to retaining his permanent title of Eternal RA and Spiritual Guide of the Glorious People's Republic of Toaster Lounge, he will also be seeking the title of Treasurer of the SGA. Join Mr. Bouray in his conquest of honor or suffer the consequences.

Sadly, this semester a Toaster Lounge Elder has left us. This leaves a gap in our ranking and an even wider one in our hearts. The remaining elders shall be considering a hopeful to fill his place, but note that there is no chance of filling his shoes.

The Toaster Lounge Extracurricular Excellence Committee is pleased to name Ritesh Uppuluri as 2010's "An Hero of the Year" for sportsmanly conduct, academic excellence, friendship, and overall just bein' a champ. Congratulations to you sir.
