All calls to Memorial Behavioral Health are completely confidential. Our offices are open from 8 am - 5 pm and our phone lines are open from 8:30 am - 5 pm.

It was a great three days of training with the Sangamon Mass Transit District team. We appreciated the opportunity to come alongside and share best practices for how to respond effectively and compassionately in situations where mental health is a factor.
Shout out to Memorial Behavioral Health staff for partnering with SMTD to train staff on mental health awareness, deescalation, and resources available. Eight sessions in three days! Hopefully the beginning of an effective collaboration to address this growing issue in our community

Emily Legner, a director with Memorial Behavioral Health, recently presented Trauma-Informed Care training to Taylorville CUSD #3 staff. This training helps professionals shift their mindset from "What's wrong with you?" to "What happened to you?" and focuses on safety, trust & healing. Participants learned about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), how trauma affects brain & behavior plus practical strategies for creating supportive environments.
