Before jet fuel ever reaches an aircraft, it has to pass the test.⛽

Airmen from the 325th Logistics Readiness Squadron inspect all incoming fuel shipments Tyndall to guarantee aircraft safety and maintain maximum combat readiness. ✈

Clean fuel means a clear mission.

The 325th Security Forces Squadron is actively upgrading its tactical capabilities by integrating the Re*****on M870 shotgun into their certification program.

As drone threats continue to evolve, so do our base defense tactics. This new training program is specifically aimed at countering small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS), adding a critical extra layer of security to the installation.

"This [short range] kinetic ability gives Defenders the capacity to engage threats from first detection to defeat," said Senior Master Sgt. Daniel Rose, 325th SFS mission assurance superintendent.

The skies are our stage! 🥁🛩

United States Air Force pilots and maintainers assigned to the 95th Fighter and Fighter Generation Squadrons made a memorable impact at the Gulf Coast Jam music festival in Panama City Beach, Florida, May 29, 2026.

The team executed a precision flyover before being welcomed on stage for a public recognition of their service. The festival crowd also cheered on the military's newest generation as local recruits took their oath of enlistment stage.

Memorial Day reminds us of America’s founding ideals and the men and women who gave their lives to preserve them. From the Revolutionary War to modern combat operations, generations of Americans have willingly sacrificed everything so others may live in freedom.

Today, we remember three local heroes from Bay County whose names and sacrifices must never be forgotten.

Army Sgt. Calvin M. Cox, a Bay High graduate, was killed during the brutal fighting at the Chosin Reservoir in Korea in 1950. Facing impossible odds, freezing temperatures, and relentless attacks, he gave his life alongside Task Force Faith in defense of freedom.

U.S. Air Force SSgt James T. Howard, also a Bay High graduate, died in Vietnam while serving with the Armed Forces Thailand Network. In 1970, an out-of-control RF-4C Phantom crashed into the station at Udorn Royal Thai AFB, killing Howard and his fellow Airmen as they worked to keep deployed service members connected to home.

Navy Hospital Corpsman Anthony Christian Garcia, an Arnold High graduate, was killed in Afghanistan in 2009 while serving beside Marines on combat patrols in Farah Province. Known as “Doc” to the Marines he cared for, Anthony gave his life at just 21 years old after answering the call to serve.

These men were sons, classmates, teammates, friends, and family members before they became heroes. Their sacrifice, and the sacrifices of so many across our nation’s 250-year history, deserve more than remembrance. They deserve our gratitude, our respect, and our commitment to never forget.

Honor. Remember. Appreciate.

United States Air Force Airmen assigned to the 325th Communications Squadron demonstrated the Mission-Ready Airman concept during Exercise Blinded Camel. 🐫

This exercise tested Airmen's ability to operate outside of their typical duties by simulating setting up a network in a contested environment and securing a forward operating base.

“This kind of training prepares us to adapt and get the mission done no matter the situation. We’re warfighters first and need to remain ready to operate in any environment.” said Staff Sgt. Michael Ford, 325th CS installation spectrum manager.
