Daisy Jane’s will be closed tomorrow (Monday, 9/28) because we are WORN OUT!! It’s a good worn out feeling, due to the Route 66 Mother Road Festival - its long hours and working a busy 3 day weekend - but we are nevertheless in need of a day off. I know you understand.😊❤️. See you Tuesday!

Who’s coming downtown this weekend for the Route 66 Mother Road Festival?! We’re excited for this huge event every year, but especially this year as it’s the 100th anniversary. And Daisy Jane’s has the merch!!

I LOVE “The Little Prince🤴,” in both English and the original French, as you can see from this shelf in our book lovers area. From socks and onesies, to various books 📘, to the inevitable stickers and magnets, a lovely locket with the book cover, a Lego type set for building a scene from the book (with the fox 🦊), and a beautiful rose 🌹 , protected from danger. Any other fans?!

You already know these words from Bob Dylan, who sang them while playing his guitar 🎶. You can now read the same words without the music, but accompanied by awesome illustrations! “Forever Young” is now in our Children’s Books section as a beautiful hardback. 📘

Big news today!! We have 3-4 new parking spots RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE SHOP!!! And you can park there TOMORROW!! The spaces, marked for 2 hours, are between the northern edge of Daisy Jane’s (toward Long Nine)and the corner at Adam’s Street (where Triple Blend is.). Yay!!!! 😄🎉
