Did you know that shutters can sell for $50 or more on Etsy depending on size and material?

I needed 11 sets of shutters, with 7 of them being 50" tall. Even after buying the tools and wood, I saved money compared to buying them ready-made. Plus, now I have tools for future projects! And my list is growing...lol

The satisfaction of trying something new and succeeding is priceless.

I can barely believe it!!! I am learning to use saws and all kinds of tools to do some remodeling on my home. I'm 64 years young and this has always been something I've wanted to learn. But honestly, was afraid to.

My daughter taught me how to use the saw! How wonderful is that!! She has been making outdoor furniture!

My first project is to make shutters for my house I am having repainted. Shutters are quite expensive and I can make them for a fraction of the cost, even with purchasing the saw...... I will be sure to post the finished project #1
We have to let go of all those fears and excuses and do it.....
