If you’ve been following us for a while, you already know how much we love bringing our little corner of the homestead to our community. And if you’re new here—welcome! We’re a local, small business creating homemade, homegrown and handcrafted products inspired by the plants we grow and the traditions we love.

At our booth, you’ll find a little bit of everything we love, including our handcrafted medicinal plant products, local raw honey from our own hives, herbal teas and tisanes, tea accessories, apothecary goods, and more. 🌿🍯

Everything we make is created with intention, using plants, herbs and ingredients we genuinely love working with. We’re proud to grow what we can, source locally when possible, and keep our products connected to the homestead they come from.

Back on the news again! KOLR10 Unscripted invited me to come back on and talk about our different businesses. This is my fourth time being on with them. They are such a great group to work with!

Unfortunately, I have some unexpected circumstances come up with our business that require our immediate attention. Unfortunately, it means I’m not going to be able to teach our Growing Greene Homesteaders Fermenting Class this Friday. 😔

I’m truly sorry for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause. I know many of you were looking forward to the class, and I was too!

In fact, this is the first time in the three years we've had this group going, that I have ever had to cancel one of our classes, so please know that this was not a decision I made lightly. I absolutely hate having to cancel, but sometimes life—and business—throws us those unexpected curveballs.

The good news is that we have a new date! 🎉

🗓️ The Fermenting Class has been rescheduled for Friday, November 6th.

I completely understand that this change may not work for everyone, and I sincerely apologize. I know everyone has busy schedules, and I hate having to make this change at the last minute.

🙏 Please help me spread the word! If you know someone who was planning to attend, please tag them or share this post so we can make sure everyone gets the message about the cancellation and new date.

Found something cool while doing 10 hours in the garden today. Thought it was close to hatching and I was really curious what it was. Brought it inside and put it in a glass box. Within 2 minutes it emerged! Haha. That was close! Beautiful hummingbird moth! We released it outside. Love those little guys! 💞

Thinned out an area of Common Milkweed. Have tons of rootstocks if anyone is interested. FREE! I've transplanted these before and they've made it. Pick up would be Sunday, August 30th at our farm.

I spent five hours yesterday refreshing all of my indoor plants.

Up-potted where needed, fresh soil in all of them, pruned and trimmed, cleaned all of the water saucers, and removed all of the babies from my aloe plants.

Everything looks happier and healthier now.

Once all of the baby aloe plants are established and I know they handled the transplant well, I will be marking them for sale. 23 babies is just too many for me to keep! Especially when I already have 3 big mamas! 🤣🤣🤣
