Twenty children from our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level II Atriums joyfully received the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion as part of a special sacramental retreat. These 7–9 year olds entered into a beautiful time of prayer, reflection, and preparation.

On Good Shepherd Sunday, April 26, these children shared in the heavenly feast for the first time, receiving First Holy Communion at the 9am Mass at St. Alice.

After two years of prayerful formation, we joyfully celebrated the installation of the St. Alice Nocturnal Adoration Society. On Saturday, May 16, our chapter was officially installed as the first men’s and women’s Nocturnal Adoration chapters in the Archdiocese of Portland.

Please keep in your prayers the confirmandi from St. Helen, St. Peter, St. Mark, St. Paul, and St. Alice who received the Sacrament of Confirmation. Archbishop Alexander Sample presided over two liturgies on Saturday, May 9.

From St. Alice, 73 candidates completed their sacramental initiation into the Catholic faith.

Join us as we celebrate the 61st anniversary of the dedication of our current St. Alice Church.
You are invited to attend the All-Community Mass at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, May 12.
Following Mass, a first-class relic of St. Alice will be available for veneration.
