Blooms on Buffalo
We provide flowers for our community all grown on our family farm in Springfield NE. U-picks coming in 2026!
Our repurposed grain bin turned into self-serve farmstand, AKA The Bloom Bin, is our hub for all things flowers & locally made & grown goods.

Exciting news! 2026 planting is DONE! Well, mostly. I have a handful of statice that can’t be planted until my bupleurum is out, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!! I’m excited because last year I literally never finished planting.
The last few days have been a whirlwind of my mom & I pulling ranunculus corms, cleaning out beds and planting everything we have. My dad was a huge help too in bringing over a skid steer bucket of dirt to fill in so I could re-plant lisianthus from the Great Big Wash Out (if you saw my stories.. you know it was bad). Beyond thankful for their help because I would still be out there trying to do it all if it wasn’t for them.
All that being said- zinnias (the main go-to for u-picks) have JUST been sowed. I had to wait for the ranunculus to die back so I could save the corms so our typical summer flowers will be a little later this year. I’m hoping u-picks can kick off towards the end of July with thousands of lisianthus! We may even have another mini market like we did in May with ranunculus 👀
If you need flowers this weekend, just let me know. $30 bouquets, pickup at the Bloom Bin, cash or venmo only.

Super sad about missing market today- a choice that will haunt me no matter what, but the Bloom Bin is set up & ready for you! Self-serve, cash or venmo only. The white cash box is by the door. 8am-5pm/sell out. See pinned post for directions! All flowers are $25 today

I HATTEEE making decisions like this, but looking at the potential weather today, I've decided not to attend the Farmers Market of Gretna. I've spent the last hour watching radar and the hourly forecast waiting for it to change like it usually does, but I have the kind of luck where if I go, the weather will be terrible, and if I don't go, it'll be beautiful!
That being said- I made a LOT of bouquets. Please come stop by the Bloom Bin, open 8am-5pm/sell out🤞If you're new here & don't know where the Bloom Bin is-check out the pinned post!

Well friends, it is time for ranunculus to wrap up. No amount of shade cloth can protect them from dormancy now, but it's been a GREAT month with them!! I'm really proud at how well they did this year, and even though I'm still a little traumatized from the 6° to 96° in 48 hours.. we did it. Thank you to my parents and my husband who always help to make this crazy dream come to life.
That being said- the ranunculus finale is live on my website! This weekend we'll have bouquets, pitchers & buckets available for pre-order and self-serve pickup windows. I'll be adjusting inventory on my website while I process orders, so if something appears unavailable, message me or check back later.
*If you order a pitcher or bucket, please bring your own clean vessel to transfer stems & water into! Don't make me hunt you down for my buckets 😜
Thank you ALL for your continued, amazing support this year!! What an absolute dream I'm living.

We’ve gotten this question a LOT lately- “what are your hours?” to put it simply- we don’t have any! And that is the absolute joy of building my own business. But in reality, flowers don’t grow on a schedule and mother nature does whatever she wants, so it’s about impossible to have consistent, set hours when everything that we rely on, is anything but predictable.
Could I supplement and buy flowers from the wholesaler, or TJs to say open consistently? Of course. Many flower farms do, but for me personally, that defeats the purpose of local, seasonal flowers.
Back to the point- When ARE we open? We open when we can, either as a u-pick, self serve farmstand, or a combo of the two. We look at the weather forecast, what’s blooming, and our own schedules to try to get the stars aligned to open the Bloom Bin.
Joining my email list and following along on social media is how you’ll find out when we’re open!
If you need flowers, you can always message me to see what’s available! I ask for 48 hours notice and a minimum of $30 for custom orders.
As a reminder, I am far from a florist and don’t offer formal arrangements, just flowers grown with so much care, straight from our farm 💐
