Lots of folks are asking, so here's the scoop: Parks and trails are OPEN, playgrounds and buildings are closed. Springfield's stay-home order includes an exception "to engage in outdoor activity," specifically "biking, walking, hiking or running."
Be smart: stay 6 feet away from anyone you meet, do not gather in groups, and if you're sick, stay home.
We need everyone's help making sure our parks and trails stay safe!
Read the full stay-home order here (see Section III A 1 c.)
