Hello, I'm back. Sorry I didn't promote the Central Illinois Music Fest at which my brother's collection was sold. To those who obtained a part of it ,enjoy. It was a wonderful group of music much of it extremely rare and unusual. Also sorry I didn't attend to see everyone,as I truly miss my customers and friends. Soon Arrowroot Coffee should be open in our former building. I wish Jacob every success. Go visit for the memories and great coffee. Hope to see many of you at local music events. Take good care,
Gary
Hello everyone. I finally had my hip replacement exactly 1 week ago. All went well and I have healed incredibly. I can walk with my cane, I can climb stairs, I can get in and out of bed, and I am pretty close to normal. I can take a real step. There is nearly no pain. I waited almost 3 years. I am giddy like Scrooge on Xmas morning. It is fantastic. I hope to see many of you soon. I plan to attend Blue Monday at the Alamo this week. You all take good care and enjoy. Gary
Hello. I want everyone to know that my e-mail is changing to [email protected]. In case anyone wants to contact me via e-mail. Also, I am in need of an experienced, fine cabinet maker if anyone knows of someone. Of course I appreciate everyone keeping track of this page. The Recycled Records domain is leaving soon along with its e-mail, however this page will remain as long as I have anything to do with it. You can always reach me here, on my page or via my new e-mail. I hope you are all doing well and enjoying life. Take good care. Gary
Just a thank you to everyone who keeps posting and remembering Recycled I appreciate all the good thoughts and miss everyone. I am still around and enjoy seeing all of you as I appear here and there now and then for this and that. Take good care. Gary
Recycled is gone, but not forgotten. Today the building was officially sold to Arrowroot Coffee. They will reopen next year. Should be great. They will have some reminders of Recycled hanging around like our mascot Boris the Spider. Our collection of vintage record store and radio stations logos and bumper stickers will remain. So, go in and say hi to Jacob and enjoy a coffee while reminiscing. I will still appear here and there ,now and then, with this one and that one. You all take good care.
This page will continue with my musing.
What an awesome response to my last post. We have been closed for 2 years. Your loyalty is astounding and very appreciated. A couple more words about Tuesday. We won't be able to take cards. Sorry. I hope to have entertainment. There is a pretty good chance that the great Tom Irwin will play a few tunes (don't forget Tom's birthday party Sunday 4-7 at the Brewhaus) and anyone may appear and play some sounds. Also, if you would like me to try and bring a particular thing please text and I will do my best. And Ace the wonderdoodle will be around mosy of Tuesday. Come on down and enjoy. Gary
Hello again. I am still here for a short time. The building is sold and this account will be defunct in mid-November. Sorry. Feel free to comment umtil then. I can always be reached on facebook under Gary Kessler. If a
