A few choice picks from the last few days. I believe the cranberry colored one is a Barbini and the emerald green, a Toso. The letter opener is made of malachite and bone. The paperweight is from Poland. It has a starburst on one side and a cross etched in the face on the other.

Woohoo!!! I started working at our sister store on the other side of town today. I am in the donation area again, but will be working closely with the people pricing back in the miscellaneous area. There is a new guy working there and he had this tall Van Briggle pitcher in front of him. I told him to turn it over and he would see who made it. He did and looked at me and asked me how I knew. I told him it came with experience and that he needed to learn these things. Anyway I walked away and didn't think much about it. On my way out the door about 5 hours later, I looked over on a shelf and there it was, still. I went over and the two vases were also next to it. I turned it over and it said four pieces. I couldn't find the fourth piece because I really didn't know what it was, so I went back and asked ahead of miscellaneous and she said it was an Indian grinding corn. She helped me find it. In 5 hours I cannot believe somebody did not pick them up, all for $15! The pitcher itself is selling for about $60.

Getting ready for my MIL to move in, I haven't had much time to post many pictures, but these are a few of the things I found in the last week. I have never smelled any chocolate candle that smelled more like chocolate than this one. The two Fentons were sitting behind a stuffed animal. The round bottle and tall vase are both Tiffany. Unfortunately, every time I managed to wrangle a tiffany, Rae Zarifis make sure it never leaves the house. The person that owned the Murano adventurine dish and Tiffany pieces did not know what they had, based on the price I got them for. I saw that heart piece of two people kissing a few weeks ago. This one is from nepal, but similar ones seem to come from all over that part of the world. The cup and plate set are American Atelier. Unfortunately, the Bartlett Collins cookie jar did not have a lid for it. There are several shell dishes like this one, but I believe this is a Cabilock. I took numerous pictures of the green yellow and red plate, but could find no comp at all. The Beatlemania double album is in near perfect condition.
