Happy New Year ! One week until Shea's Birthday . I challenge you to do something good for someone this week in his memory. It doesn't have to be much. Buy someone's coffee, open the door for someone, give a compliment to a stranger, give to a local charity. Leave your ideas in the comments below to inspire others.
Shea would be so honored if you would do something to make someone smile!

Life has been busy and I haven't had much time to post as I intended to. I hope everyone is doing their best to Shine Like Shea .
Monday at work a customer told me I was an answer to prayer. She had walked in right as we opened looking for undergarments. I walked her right to them. She was so happy because her legs were bad and walking far is difficult. I almost called for someone else to help her. But I felt the tug to help her. When we finished we shared some stories and I told her about losing my son. She had lost a daughter at age 41 a few years ago. I told her my story of just getting up and doing my best to live my life in a positive way, because Shea would expect me to. She said she does the same.
She left glowing, I was touched by her willingness to keep going and her faith in Jesus.
What if I had not answered that "tug" to help her? What if I would have kept walking past her? What if I didn't answer that call to help her? BOTH of us would have missed out on a true blessing.
I urge you to answer that call, to take the time to help someone. Shea always answered the call. The feeling of doing good always inspired him to shine like a bright light in a dark world.
It is a simple as just taking care someone who needs a little extra help.
I encourage you to to do good and experience the joy that comes back to you.
