Thank you to everyone who supported our library program by coming to the book fair. It was so nice to get to meet our new families and say hello again to many friends. The book fair is truly magical!

Next week our students will be able to partake in one of my favorite childhood activities… the BOOK FAIR!!!! It is my goal that every student walks away with a book in hand and a spark for reading. In order to achieve that goal I have created an scholastic ewallet account to take donations that will be used to help students get a book to take home. Please donate if you can, share it on your socials and let’s spread the word out! Together we can achieve the goal of a book for every student! Thanks in advance for your compassion and generosity!

THE BOOK FAIR IS COMING! So many families look forward to the book fair each and every year, but the magic cannot happen without a team of volunteers. This year, as my thank you for your help, volunteers will earn a $5 credit towards their book fair purchase for each shift they work. This is a fun way to help your student grow their personal library even more! The link to sign up is in the comments. ** Please know you must be registered with Raptor to participate. Please check in with the office if you have questions about this.

Hello everyone! In library we have been talking a lot about community and what makes our community great. I am looking for community members who would like to come and be a guest reader here in the library. We will be doing this once on a half day Friday. You can sign up to be here all day 8:30-12:30 or to do half days 8:30-10:30/10:30-12:30. You would share about what you do to make our community great and read your favorite picture book (or a book related to your topic). Please email me at [email protected] if you are interested and I will get you potential dates. Thanks in advance for making our community great!

Thank you to everyone who made this year's book fair a HUGE success! If you missed the book fair or your child still has funds in their eWallet, remember that you can still shop our book fair online until March 2nd. This is a great way to use up those eWallet funds or pick up anything that sold out at our fair.

Thanks again for supporting our library and your student's love of learning!

I would also like to send a huge shout out to Mrs. Raube and Mrs. Wauh who are the best teammates a girl could ask for! Drop them a line to say thanks and let them know how much fun you are yours had at the fair this year!

It's Book Fair Time! Visit our school's homepage to get the latest Book Fair news, shop our Online Fair, and more!

The book fair is set up and ready to rock next week. We strive to make the book fair a fun place for all students to get excited about reading. One way you can help with that is making a donation to the TES e-wallet. All funds collected will help kids who would not otherwise be able to get a book. Let's join together and make sure every child at TES has the ability to come in and leave excited about books!

Thanks in advance for your generosity and compassion.

Here are some tips and tricks to ensure everyone has an amazing time at this year’s book fair:

1) preview/browsing time will be given to your student during library. This is their time to browse, create a wish list and linger with the books.
2) Shopping time before and after school is short. It’s best if you come in with a game plan, grab the items your student wants and get into line.
3) if your child needs help counting their money, knowing what they can purchase with that amount they have or if you have specific things you would like them to buy, please come shop with them after school.
4) bags of change make it really hard for students to shop independently (and hard for adults to make the line go quickly). If you are able to trade them their savings change for dollar bills we would appreciate it. If not, we understand, but help your child out by putting the change in sandwhich bags. Put one dollar in each bag. That way they can easily pull out the number of bags needed to quickly pay for their items.
5) Please remember, we have over 400 students and one cash register. your cooperation and patience is appreciated!

So proud of all the teams who participated in this years OBOB competition. Battle of the Books is a great way to encourage students to dive into books they might not have otherwise read.

The list of books for next year’s competition is already out. The best way to prepare is to start early! Here’s a link:
