National Beta District of Distinction is awarded to school districts who demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence, leadership, development and service involvement. In order to qualify, all schools within the state recognized school district must offer National Beta and induct qualifying students in grades 4th-12th within each school.

Come fishing with us! The Bass Fishing Team at ECHS is hosting a summer bass fishing camp Thursday, May 28, from 8 am - 2 pm at the Carlson/Riggs pond located at 1979 Ga-119 Sout, Guyton. The ECHS Boys Lacrosse team is hosting its first annual Rebel Ruckus Golf Tournament Saturday, June 13, at the Lost Plantation Golf Course in Rincon, Georgia at 1 Club House Drive. The fee is $125 per player/$500 per team. Registration will start at 7 am the day of the tournament. The registration fee includes green fee, cart, and lunch. Mulligans will be available for $10 each. Closest to the pin $15 per par 3. The tournament will be scramble play for 20 teams. There will be prizes for 1st and 2nd places.
