Hello everyone.

As many of you know, we weren’t able to win last night. But, we ran the kind of campaign that I can be proud of and I am incredibly thankful to all of the wonderful volunteers and donors that made this run possible.

I called my opponent last night and we had a good conversation. I will continue to invest in this community in a multitude of ways and am excited for what the Lord has next.

Thank you to all of you who shared time and front porches with me. You shared hurts and dreams and I am incredibly thankful to have laughed and cried with you all.

Many great things are still to come.

I normally take Sundays off, but with only TWO DAYS left this will be the only Sunday that we get out there.

Another place I am thankful for and that has helped me get to this point is the Discovery Center Springfield. Being on the board of this organization helped me to see the impact that good leadership can have in an area, especially during difficult times.
Seeing the impact that the Discovery School has had in the lives of kids and to work with Rob Blevins and Jackie Douglas has made me see the importance of investing in kids, and I am thankful for what Springfield can be with people like this around.

Incredibly thankful to the folks over at TeenPact Missouri and all the doors that were knocked today! What a great way to learn about community involvement and how our government works than by jumping in and seeing for yourself!

Another group that has helped shape my love for this area is being the co-chair of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors. This group of area business members go around this city every week and celebrate businesses and the things that they are doing.

Getting to celebrate businesses in our area has become a joy of my week and I have loved getting to hear the passion of each business leader and hearing why they do what they do. I am hopeful to be elected and find ways to continue to build and expand commerce and nonprofits in our area to help our area thrive

Walking through these dry, crunchy leaves makes the walk to the door pretty loud, but the conversations are so important and we could be in for something SPECIAL next week as we work to
