Another cute craft idea for children with Autism is creating a sensory-friendly tactile board. Tactile boards are great for stimulating the sense of touch and exploring different textures. Here's how you can make one:

Materials needed:

✂️ Corkboard or foam board
✂️ Various textured materials (e.g., faux fur, sandpaper, velvet, bubble wrap, satin, cotton fabric)
✂️ Craft glue or hot glue gun
✂️ Scissors
✂️ Additional decorations like buttons, ribbons, or beads

Instructions:

-Start by cutting the textured materials into different shapes and sizes. You can create squares, circles, or any other shapes that you prefer.
-Arrange the textured materials on the corkboard or foam board, leaving some space between each piece.
-Once you're satisfied with the arrangement, use craft glue or a hot glue gun to secure the materials onto the board. Make sure they are firmly attached.
-If desired, you can add extra decorations like buttons, ribbons, or beads to enhance the visual appeal of the board.
-Let the glue dry completely before allowing the child to explore and touch the different textures.
-The tactile board provides a safe and engaging way for children with autism to explore different textures and improve their sensory processing skills.
