A great night in Springfield supporting in their mission to make sure that every student in WMA has the financial literacy they need to thrive!

I’m grateful to Diana DiZoglio for joining us in EFP last night to talk about the amazing work the State Auditors Office performs. Diana is fighting for the right to audit the State Legislature, and to require both the Legislature and the Governor to be subject to Public Records Requests. She also strongly believes that Western Mass is unfairly compensated for the costs of land owned by the State. I couldn’t agree with her more, and I’m proud to support her.

Exciting news in Indian Orchard. The Indian Orchard Citizens Council is announcing a new phase in their efforts to turn the IO Fire Station into a Community Center!

Indian Orchard citizens group hopes to open restored fire station by 2027 The council is kicking off a fundraising campaign to collect donations toward the project.

Springfield PD honors dedication with sergeant promotions Officers William Lopes and Armenio Garcia were promoted to Sergeants in the Springfield Police Department after demonstrating long-term dedication and leadership.

I want to thank Walk Bike Springfield for hosting the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims on Sunday.

The annual gathering is a somber reminder and reflection of the lives of 35 Hampden County residents who were cut short due to a roadway collision.

I’m asking everyone to please slow down, follow signs, drive safely, and check your mirrors as you travel through the streets. Your actions could save your life as well as someone else’s.
