Grow for Good 417, LLC was started in 2021 focusing on plants and plant education. Growing up in rural Missouri to a family of educators, we did not have a lot of money. Whew... we are finally catching our breath! 😮💨🙌
The last couple of weeks completely wiped us out in the best way possible, but we couldn't go another day without saying a massive thank you to the organizers of the Pickwick Street Fair and Ozarks Pridefest. You all did an absolutely amazing job.
Also, a huge shoutout to Jordan Valley Health for passing out all those succulents we prepped for them. Seeing them find new homes was the absolute best.
Getting to hang out with our current plant family (and welcoming so many awesome new members to the crew) made every single second worth it.
We had the best time and are already looking forward to next year. Thank you again to the organizers, volunteers, and everyone who stopped by to see us! 💚🌈

What did the plant dad say when his kid was misbehaving? "You're grounded." 🌱🙄
Father's Day is next week and it is time to level up his plant dad game. Grab these at the shop (or just buy them for yourself, we won't tell):
📚 The Books: We have amazing reads from plant royalty like Farmer Nick, Hilton Carter, and Tanner the Planter. Perfect for the dad who loves a good hyper-fixation!
💩 Custom Dirt Bags: Yes, we are giving you full permission to call your dad a dirtbag this year. It is the premium soil blend his plants are actually begging for.
🧪 Soil Amendments: Skip the basic hardware store stuff. Grab our premium amendments and signature Shine & Shield to help him customize his plant routine.
⏰ Shop Hours:
Saturday: 10 AM to 6 PM

A moment of silence for the plant I totally forgot about... 💀🌿
Confession time: I found this snake plant in a corner of the greenhouse where it hasn’t seen a drop of water in months.
The leaves are curled, but after a deep soak today, it will bounce back perfectly. Snake plants are absolute tanks.
Let this be your reminder: DO NOT OVERWATER YOUR PLANTS! 🛑
Loving your plants too much with the watering can is the number one cause of plant death. They do not all need water every single week. When in doubt, let it dry out! Your plants can recover from being dry, but they cannot recover from root rot.
