The grace of God does not “liberate” one from all rules as is supposed by some, but rather liberates one from sin, all the while teaching one what to deny, and how to obey and live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world: “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world” (Titus 2:11-12)
