Runway lights blurring through water. Hands on thrust levers, one at idle, one at TO/GA. Altimeter rapidly unwinds through 200 feet. Radio altimeter calls: "Fifty, forty, thirty."
Cinematic shot, overcast evening. A wide-body Boeing 777 descends toward a coastal runway, one main landing gear visibly stuck halfway deployed. Left engine emits intermittent flames. Side-angle tight shot on wing root, 45% slow-motion. The inboard flap separates entirely from its hinge mounts, slicing backward into the fuselage side. It carves a deep gash through the passenger cabin skin just below the window line. Insulation material, torn wiring, and shattered window panes spray outward. The flap then pivots downward, acting like a giant brake shoe, digging into the runway and violently jerking the entire aircraft's left side downward.
