Introducing our debut merchandise collection! Although these items won't arrive in time for the holidays, they will in time to sport them at the upcoming Winter Conference ;)
If you’re here, you're passionate about local food from healthy soil. Now, you can show it off with a "Soil Nerds" hat highlighting the intricate world of soil microbes, a tote bag featuring farm favorites, or the more classic look of the NOFA/Mass logo. Perfect for growers of any scale or dedicated farmers' market shoppers.
We’re excited to announce that our first line of merchandise will be printed at QRSTs, a Massachusetts-based shop that prints on demand and ships directly to you.
$10 of each item goes directly to us at NOFA/Mass, ensuring that your purchase will help us move towards our shared vision of people working together to support farmers and food systems’ workers and to increase food access, racial equity, resilient farms and environmental justice.
Thank you for supporting NOFA/Mass and healthy soil!

Harvesting seeds from Small partridge pea (Chamaecrista nictitans) is fun! When ripe, the pods will pop, so its best to do this where they can be contained. It tends to grow on drier soils and I think this is one showy little plant, especially en masse. These seeds are destined for a dry, roadside planting where they will help prevent erosion and support myriad other organisms. This species is native to North, Central, and South America.
