Shocking! π€ͺ In all honesty -- downtown is nothing without YOU the patron!
Visit a downtown spot this week!
According to Visit Springfield director Scott Dahl, the city expects a record year in travel expenditures, forecasted to exceed $650 million.
Business owners in downtown Springfield, however, say they arenβt seeing or feeling those numbers. A story link is below.

Soma Sour but make it green π π
Gonna be working on a recipe book soon. It will be a Kickstarter campaign to make sure costs are covered before sending to print!
What "extras" would you like to see?
A few examples:
π A trio of bitters from our fave NA bitter company
π All the special ingredients you need to make a recipe
π Tshirts, ceramic mugs, other merch
Thinking of The Curve Inn today as they process the aftermath of a massive fire in the establishment.
All the love to our small business friends. Many places around town have collections going, if you feel so led to give.

Daisy Jane's was our downtown neighbor at our brick and mortar location. Julie and her daughters (and of course granddaughter Sophie, the best employee!) have always been so kind and supportive of The Wakery and of me.
It's incredibly violating to have your place broken into. You don't feel safe, your hard work is trashed, and the tiny little bit of money you did make is gone forever.
We need all of our hearts downtown right now. Please support this wonderful business when it's back up and running.

Our coffee beans came from Custom Cup. They're wonderful downtown neighbors (and real life neighbors to my parents!), and my heart goes out to them today.
We were broken into shortly after the fire and it was a horrible experience.
My heart is downtown. Please support them when they are back up and running.
Which Wakery drink do you miss the most?
