Feelin' Snacky

the summer camp care package is lighting me up. the first one of these that gets sent to an actual summer camp is gonna send me directly to cloud nine. here's what's inside, campers.

the may pop up was intimate and so fun. a handful of new faces, a menu i was particularly excited about, even some packaged snacks that y'all couldn't get enough of. stay tuned for the next one so you don't have to feel this insane amount of fomo again.

ten days until we're Springtime Snackin' in Springfield, MO! this menu features some of my favorite seasonal snacks with flavors that catapult me right into that perfect late spring//early summer vibe, and you know the playlist is gonna match.

i went to college in washington state and fell in love with a little deli in kirkland, the *market salad* is as close as i can get to bringing it to you without ripping them off.

scones are my favorite bakery good, so with *scones by the sea*, i wanted to play with briney, salty, and slightly sweet crab in an all new (for some) application. you just wait and see how that jam will make them sing!

i don't really love "loaded" potatoes or cheese fries, i know, i know. but with *l'il taties*, i'm hoping to pack so much flavor and texture that you'll never think of plasticky cheese and bacon bits when you eat a potato ever again.

i'm a closeted theatre kid and i used to do shows with this kid named bobby. bobby was a world-class weirdo and that was his charm. *nighty night, pork 'n beans* has very little to do with bobby, other than i borrowed his signature send off for the name. i'm super excited about this one, i hope you are too.

and finally, for dessert, i'm going to caramelize this enriched bread and spread it with a whipped lemon curd butter & sweet herbs, so that your eyes will be like "oh, ok, *bread & butter, simple enough" but then your mouth will be like "hot damn, country crock can go jump off a bridge." or whatever your inner monologue sounds like. mine's pretty much like that.
