Teamsters Local 916 President JP Fyans and Trustee Justin Shaffer had the opportunity to meet with Lieutenant Governor candidate Christian Mitchell to discuss key issues facing our members.

We appreciated the chance to have an open and productive conversation about the priorities of working families.

It’s critical that the voices of Teamsters are heard, and we will continue to advocate for policies that support our members across Illinois.

Teamsters Local 916 was proud to stand in solidarity at the Teamsters Joint Council 25 Lobby Day, joining fellow Teamsters from across the great state of Illinois to make our voices heard.

Our members had the opportunity to meet directly with legislators, sharing real stories about the issues that matter most to working families.

We extend our sincere thanks to all the legislators who took the time to meet with us, listen, and engage in meaningful conversations. Hearing the voices of Teamsters from across Illinois is critical to building stronger communities and a better future for all workers.
