We know how important it is to continue to learn in our lives of faith, but have you considered how important UNlearning is? Sunday, we hear three stories from Acts 8 & 9 and discover how to unlearn wrong belief; unlearn bad habits; unlearn ways of thinking we are stuck in; unlearn the life of self so that we can learn life in the Holy Spirit.
You are welcome to join us, Sunday at 9:30.

Sunday, we hear the story of Stephen and consider the lost virtue of meekness. "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth." Meekness, we will discover, is very different from weakness, shyness, fear, or defeatism. To be meek is to be a glorious servant of God! (Acts 6-7)

Sunday, we continue our journey through the Acts of the Apostles as we meet Gamaliel, a wise and powerful Pharisee and member of the Sanhedrin who cautions the rulers against killing the apostles. (Acts 5:33-42). Gamaliel helps us better understand the apostles' commitment to Christ and encourages us to scrutinize our own decisions in faith.

Good morning, all! This Sunday is Pentecost, when we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the church. How do you know if you are living in accordance with the Holy Spirit? The story of Pentecost tells us! (Acts 2:43-47)

A blessed spring morning to you! Sunday, we dig more deeply into Acts as we consider the selection of Matthias as the substitute 12th apostle. Acts 1:15-26. What we might consider chance events in life are the very works of God, indeed.

Sunday, we hear Jesus tell the disciples--and us--"It is not for you to know times or seasons..." (Acts 1:7). Some things belong to and are known by God alone--and praise God for that!
Please join, Sunday at 9:30. All are welcome.

Sunday, we move from Jesus' post-resurrection appearances into the book of Acts. Next week, we'll focus on the Ascension of Christ, but this week, we first need to get to know Luke & his purpose for writing. We will study the incredible book of Acts for the next couple of months, to include Pentecost and the amazing events in the lives of the apostles and first Christians.
Who are we? Why are we? What has God done & what is God doing? We will grow in the Spirit as we learn Acts' answers to these essential questions.

"Peace be with you!" Sunday, we hear Jesus greet the disciples with a word of peace in his appearance to them after his resurrection. (John 20:19-23). Peace?! In this world of conflict & trouble?
Yes. Amen.

Sunday, we will continue the Easter season by beginning an examination of belief--What does it mean to believe? What should we believe? Do we genuinely believe? How can we build belief? What errors might exist in our belief? We begin with the Road to Emmaus (Luke 24), a mysterious, fascinating story that strengthens our belief in and through the Word.
Please join us, 9:30 Sunday!

A blessed Good Friday to you. Sunday, we celebrate Easter & our Lord's glorious victory over sin & death. Following our service last Sunday and the objects and instruments of his Passion, we consider one last object, from the Gospel of John--a simple, rolled up napkin left on the hard stone of the tomb where he lay. (John 20:7).
Pray for one another & for the whole world this weekend!
As always, all are welcome to our service, 9:30 Sunday.
