Playoff Mode Activated ⚔️🔥 Go Judah!

I was sick for six years.

Not “I didn’t feel great” sick.
Sick enough that there were days I wondered if this was just going to be my life.

I gained weight. My body hurt. I was exhausted. I went looking for answers and couldn’t find them.

Then God healed my body.

And somewhere on the other side of that, I felt Him telling me to pursue soccer.

Which made absolutely no sense.

I was 34.
I had never played.
I had five kids.
No connections.
No path into the game.

But I went.

And for the last few years, I’ve just kept going.

Rec leagues. Amateur soccer. Training in Brazil. USA Indoor against Mexico. Getting drafted by a professional team. LA Galaxy 3x3 team.

And then, at 38 years old, putting on a USA jersey and representing my country at a 6-a-side World Cup. 🇺🇸

There are still moments when I look at all of this and think about the guy who was sick for six years.

I really thought some of my best years might be behind me.

They weren’t.

That’s probably the part of this story I want people to hear most.

You have no idea what can be on the other side of one yes to God.

It’s not too late.

Keep going.

I was 34. I’d never played a real game of soccer.

For three years I’ve been trying to find out how far that could actually go.

This week I met Nick Vujicic on the red carpet, holding a soccer ball, laughing, hugging me like we’d known each other for years.

Nick was born with no arms and no legs. He’s spent his entire life proving the exact thing I’ve only been chasing for three.

His new film “NO LIMBS, NO LIMITS: The Nick V Story” hits theaters September 25. Go see it. Bring someone who needs it more than you do.

There’s a Pay It Forward program too, so you can help someone else see it who couldn’t otherwise.

What’s the “limit” you’ve quietly decided is just how it is? Tell me below, I’ll read every one.

Some people remind you that the limits we put on our lives are usually a lot smaller than what God says is possible.

Nick is one of those people.

Getting to spend some time with Nick Vujicic and celebrate his story was something I won’t forget. His life is such a powerful reminder that your circumstances don’t have to define your purpose and that God can use every part of your story.

His new film NO LIMBS, NO LIMITS: The NickV Story comes to theaters September 25, and I really hope people go see this one.

And I love what they’re doing with it beyond the film itself.

They’ve launched a “Be a Miracle” Pay It Forward campaign where you can help provide a ticket for someone who may not otherwise be able to go—people living with disabilities, veterans, families facing financial hardship, or simply someone who needs a little hope right now.

Nick has said, “If you don’t get a miracle, you can still be a miracle for someone.”
