I’m so excited to visit Portugal, but I think I’m even more excited to do it with my husband and get to watch him experience Europe for the first time.

I’m headed to Portugal at the end of September after earning a trip through Europe Express as their Newcomer Year-over-Year Growth winner!
The trip includes flights and accommodations, which I’m incredibly grateful for. It happens to fall over our anniversary, so my husband is coming with me.
We’ll be spending October 1–6 in Lisbon before heading to Porto October 6–9. I already have a restaurant list started, which I’m sure is a surprise to no one.
Fransisco, my Avalon cruise director, may have already given me some recommendations, so clearly I’m taking the food and wine research very seriously.
I’m pretty excited about this one. 🇵🇹
