The Champion City Reapers fell 17-16 to the German Village Hobnobbers on Sunday in a friendly opening game for both clubs.
The Reapers play Saturday, May 2, at home with the Ohio 9 Base Ball Club.

The Champion City Reapers begin the 2026 base ball season at home Sunday, April 26, with the German Village Hobnobbers.
The 9-inning game will begin at 1 pm at Heritage Park in Springfield Twp. behind the administration building and fire station.

Game day! Home at noon today with Red Stockings and at 2 pm with the Buckeyes. The gents from Cincinnati are our good friends and fine ballists.
We play Heritage Park behind the Springfield Township administration building and fire station.

The Champion City Reapers aren’t at our park until September, but you can catch them nearby this Sunday.
The Reapers play two games Sunday at Tipp City. The first is at noon with the Clodbuster Base Ball Club and the second about 2 pm vs the Tippecanoe Canal Jumpers.
The games are in the city park near the aquatic center. Come watch.
