Springfield Regional Response Coalition

Recently, hospital representatives attended the annual AHEPP (Association of Healthcare Emergency Preparedness Professionals) Conference in Frisco, TX, where they interacted with peers, acquired best practices, and obtained valuable insights from Subject Matter Experts across the United States and globally. We look forward to reviewing this information and enhancing our healthcare readiness throughout our Region. All of this was made possible through the Hospital Preparedness Grant.

We were able to provide some VR Mass Casualty Training and using START Triage this past week for some Millikin School of Nursing students! They did any amazing job and were able to use the VR platform to do “hands-on” training to better understand the concept of using START triage! Looking forward to providing more of these trainings in the future!

Always happy to help our regional partners! We appreciate Chatham Fire Department and their active participation in our region to ensure that our responders are prepared for the worst in our communities! Looking forward to our continued partnership!

Another great introduction/training with virtual reality for mass casualty incidents (MCI)! A huge thank you to the Litchfield Fire Department for allowing us to provide this training! The men and women of Litchfield Fire Department are phenomenal first responders and we look forward on continuing this partnership!!

Yesterday we had the pleasure to bring our new Virtual Reality training to Chatham Fire Department!! The men and women on shift welcomed the training with open arms and embraced this opportunity! We are looking forward to partnering with the Chatham Fire Department on continuing to provide, and enhance, future trainings!!
