Here’s a bit of process for an Easter-themed “Pepper’s Ghost” project. First, I filmed some marshmallow Peeps against a black background, adjusted the contrast, and then brought it into VDMX to hook it up with real-time audio cues. Then, I made some squeaky sounds with a Stylophone and a beat with my synthesizers. I set up a glass cylinder with a reflector inside at a 45 degree angle to catch the reflection of my video from the tube of a small Sony Trinitron television. Then, I set up my camera and recorded the result. Over the last few years that MioWnize and I have been friends, we’ve collabed on a few songs together and every one of those songs have been awesome.

I feel like Mike always come back to me with music that sounds better than the last time, the man’s always improving his craft and I respect that. I feel like it shows with each of our songs too in the fact that I always feel like our newest song’s the most banging.

“I Know Why” is the newest addition to our nifty lil side project and I honestly can’t wait for you guys to hear this. MioWnize’s vocal here is insane!!!!
