Spent the afternoon in Fordland, MO poking around antiques at the .gray fall festival. Three times a year this TINY town turns into a seasonally-designed wonderland of antiquing and vintage finds. Stores open, vendors set up shop all over, and the grounds of festival market (a reired farm) are done up like a movie set. We've already marked our calendars for the Holiday Festival!

Spent the afternoon at the original built in the 1800's and still brewing today under the light of antique chandeliers created for the 1904 World's Fair. Home to the original team of who are housed in a stable with Tiffany stained glass windows! Lots of history right in the right heart of St. Louis.

Delighted to be a guest this weekend at The Fall Dinner on The Farm. An extraordinary and quintessentially evening produced by + restaurant. A delicious 6-course dinner right on the farm (smack dab in middle of ) with live music. The menu featured produce that was literally grown and harvested in the ground right under our feet! Paired with specially selected wine and local beer from . We have to wait until next year to go back, but we definitely will! See more of the farm in my stories.

Warm early autumn evenings are perfect for an al fresco night at . At the corner of Pickwick and Cherry, there is the wonderfully symbiotic relationship of Skully's Ramen & The Royal. Grab from Skullys and drinks from The Royal and take a seat on the shared terrace to slowly watch the world go by. We ordered an and a Sparkling Blackberry-Sage Lemonade to accompany our custom . 👌 There's still a few warm nights ahead so take in this special setting while you can.

With 75+ miles of trails, we are excited to explore them all. So far we've tackled the (at least most of it), and discovered its interesting and quirky sculpture tributes along the way. A giant wheelchair? Ah, yeah. Meandering along Creek, its a very pleasant way to spend an afternoon. You can even stop for fuel (AKA coffee) at Kingdom Coffee which is right along the trail. Scroll to see the outdoor art.

Discovered this magical spot today just a block from home! An arbor built in 1908 that the current owner renovated, turning it into an outdoor with .a.w.n.sgf - .
Tucked inside is a secret hideaway.
Along with sculptures and art, there are photos of the original owner and his family and his sketch before it was built. . The sense of and historic preservation in the neighborhood continues to amaze and delight.

Last night we went kayaking on Fellows Lake under the magnificent full moon. We were on the water as the sun set and the moon rose. Nothing but the sounds of the lake and the bright light of the moon. Just 20 minutes from downtown and you are in the middle of this natural beauty. Thanks 37 North Expeditions for a magical evening (and the barbecue wasn't too bad either😉)
