The South End Bridge was an iron span built in 1878, replacing an old steam ferry as a means of crossing the Connecticut River. The current bridge was built to its south in the 1950s. It was dedicated to Julia Buxton, a Springfield businesswoman.

Back by popular demand, Boston Lights has over 60 magnificent lights displays comprised of hundreds of beautifully crafted lanterns spanning Franklin Park Zoo’s 72 acres. Walk through glowing corridors of lotus and sunflowers, cranes and cherry blossoms, and a tower 87 ft long Tyrannosaurus Rex tunnel. The event will be around till October 11th 6-10:30 pm

I love looking at my city, my world at nighttime. Boston has been my home for almost 30 years since late ‘92. This is the only world I know. I want to branch out from Boston soon to see different places. No matter where I go or move to, Boston will always be my hometown

Today, it’s been 6 years since you were taken from us. Seems like yesterday when I got the terrible news about you Mom. Still hurts like hell. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about you. The family misses you. A lot of things happened without your presence. If I could turn back the hands of time, I would do it in a heartbeat. I wish I could just have 1 more day with you. Keep watching over us. Love you and miss you, Mom
