This is my first time painting in almost a year.....I'm trying like hell to find the fire in my soul that once existed and start painting every day.
This is Amirah, a friend's beautiful girl she entrusted me to paint. I think I may have to figure out how to apply a filter to my paintings in the future....my new phone's camera takes really rough pics.

Happy Thanksgiving to you ALL!
As most of you know, I've been absent for a long while. I stepped away from painting and as things ended up, "Life" dealt me a hand that escorted me right to the loser's table. (I don't even gamble so I have NO idea why I'm referencing betting but, let's just go with it, for now).
Anyway, I am still trying to get off the struggle bus and do some healing BUT, I've spent the last two hours preparing and uploading some of my older paintings. Forty-one pieces, to be exact. It's so satisfying knowing that I FINALLY have ALL my work visible and ready to move!

I have been out of commission for a while for personal reasons. But I have many paintings for sale so please check out my website and I also do custom work. I paint mostly animals to include custom pet portraits. For portraits, I work off of photos so if you submit something to me, I will need in-focus pictures in natural lighting.
I also paint military aircraft.....as can been seen on my website. I do custom work there also.
I am very much trying to get back to watercolor. I love it but I've had a hard several months. It is what it is, but if I can create something for you, please let me know.
I have a few pieces that I have to get done that has been on the back burner (again, I've not been at my best), but if you can just be patient, I will get caught up as quickly as I can.

The McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet is an all-weather supersonic, twin-engine, carrier-capable, multirole combat aircraft, designed as both a fighter and attack aircraft (hence the F/A designation). Designed by McDonnell Douglas and Northrop, the F/A-18 was derived from the latter's YF-17 in the 1970s for use by the United States Navy and Marine Corps. The Hornet is also used by the air forces of several other nations, and formerly by the U.S. Navy's Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels.

My aircraft nose art piece is complete! This was a fun one!
While Nose Art began for practical reasons of identifying friendly units, the practice evolved to express the individuality often constrained by the uniformity of the military, to evoke memories of home and peacetime life, and as a kind of psychological protection against the stresses of war and the probability of death. Although never officially approved, regulations against it were not enforced.
