Our thoughts and prayers are with the Kentucky State Police and the family, friends, and fellow Troopers of Trooper Hayden Phillips, Unit 369, following his tragic line-of-duty death earlier today.

The loss of an officer is felt throughout the entire law enforcement community. We stand alongside our brothers and sisters of the Kentucky State Police as they mourn this tremendous loss.

May Trooper Phillips’ service, sacrifice, and dedication to the Commonwealth of Kentucky never be forgotten.

Lebanon Fire release the following:

For generations of families, this building was more than just a restaurant. For nearly 50 years, it was a place where birthdays were celebrated, families gathered, friends met, and countless memories were made. Many members of our community also had the opportunity to work there at some point in their lives, making it an especially meaningful part of our community’s history.

While the building may be gone, the memories made there will remain with the many families, employees, and community members who passed through its doors over the years.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office will officially list the cause of the fire as undetermined, as there were two potential accidental causes. Due to the damage, neither could be confirmed.

We are thankful to report that everyone was safe, and there were no firefighter or civilian injuries. We appreciate the dozens of spectators that gathered for allowing us space to work and the offers of food and drinks. We are grateful to our mutual and automatic aid partners that worked together to handle this unfortunate incident and protect our community.

Central Polk County released the following on 9-25-2026:

This afternoon we along with several of our Mutual Aid Partners were dispatch to a structure fire on O Highway in Cliquot. And while we are sorry we inconveniencing some people by making them turn around because we had apparatus completely blocking the road. I would like to remind everybody about the residents who lost everything they owned in this house fire. And even though it took you a few more moments to drive around to get home you made it to your home and get to enjoy it tonight. The victims of this fire don't get that option. Please keep your neighbors in your thoughts in there time of loss.
