“I have been a competitive athlete my entire life and physical fitness has always been a priority. My last “race” was the Boston Marathon in 2015. For the past ten years I have continued to exercise but quite frankly was getting bored with my exercise routine. I needed someone or something to ignite that spark in me and hold me accountable. A friend of mine suggested I try Burn Boot Camp.
I took my first Burn camp in October of 2025 and have not looked back since. At 55 years old I am stronger than I have been in a very long time. In fact, I just competed in my first race in almost 11 years at Hyrox NYC with my daughter.
Burn has taught me how to “win” again. By winning I don’t mean chasing podiums or qualifying times, I mean the “soft” wins. It’s getting up for a 5:15 am camp because it’s the only one you can attend and don’t want to miss leg day, it’s high fiving the person next to you after a hard workout and have them say “thank you for pushing me I really needed it,” and finally it’s about knowing who you are as an athlete and being proud of it.
Thank you Burn for giving me my spark back and making me a winner again.”💙🏆

Training Cycle #6 is here and we’re focusing on Pull & Rotate movements.
Strength isn’t just about moving weight, it’s about moving well.
This cycle, you’ll see the 1-Arm Row and Med Ball Rotational Slam programmed weekly, designed to build upper-body strength, core stability and rotational power. This is the kind of functional movement you use everyday!
Our performance challenge will feature two movements which we will drop set for 4 minutes!
