A symbol of the home you and your beloved will make together, the chuppah is one of the most important elements of any Jewish wedding. Open on all sides, it welcomes friends and family to participate in your coming life together. The chuppah I create comes from you. I might begin with one of your grandmother’s tablecloths, and then, with your guidance, add symbols and elements that represent what is of value to you and your partner. Almost any embellishment that holds special memories can become a part of your wedding canopy. T-shirts, ties, fabric heirlooms. Photos (old and new), postcards, letters, maps – they can all be scanned and transferred to fabric. Your finished chuppah will be a collage that tells the story of your relationship. When you are joined beneath it, you will stand beneath all that has brought you to this point. After your wedding, your chuppah can hold a place of honor in your home. Hung on a wall or converted into a quilt, your canopy becomes a cherished keepsake to display and then pass from generation to generation. Need a gift for a special someone who has everything? A celebration quilt is an excellent choice. I can incorporate your photos and other personal items (see above) into a wall hanging (of any size) that will be symbol of your love and friendship to be cherished forever. T-Shirt quilts are a great way of preserving memories of anything. Whether your focus is sports, theater, music or anything else, a t-shirt quilt is a great way to save and show off your old t-shirts. Custom pillows make a great gift for anyone. Anything can go on the pillow including pictures, a t-shirt or writing.

Another non-traditional t-shirt quilt This t-shirt quilt was made for a young woman as a high school graduation gift from her parents. As you can see, she is really into theater! I did not have shirts to work with of all her shows, so her mom sent me digital photos of the covers of some scripts, logos for some shows and even some ticket...

Here are a few photos from one of my latest t-shirt quilt. This client pushed me to use way more shirts than I thought I could, overlapping them here and there. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. Thanks Marilyn!! Hope Zari loves it!

I just completed this interrelated set of pillows for a client. I'm pretty pleased with the way they turned out, and it was awesome being able to photograph them on a couch with no dog hair!!!
