Lydia’s Closet

These totes and this space are answers to prayer and a dream come true. Praise the Lord! Lydia’s Closet has found a home in NC.

South Haven Baptist Church is very good at loving on missionaries, and Lydia’s Closet is just another way of meeting the missionaries’ needs. Thank you to everyone who has given, prayed, organized, and welcomed. Your service is a blessing and a reminder of God’s goodness.

Lydia’s Closet is ready for another week of missions conference. Please pray that God will meet the missionary’s needs and encourage the hearts of those who visit this week. May God bless those who continue to give of themselves and serve in this ministry.

We live about thirty minutes from the church, and it has been a blessing to be able to have everything available at the church for the missionaries this week at their convenience.

An older man helped us load up the totes and bring them to the church, but in the process, he hurt his back. We are in need of a way to get it all home tomorrow without making multiple trips.

God has provided the totes and the clothes and the chance to serve through this ministry. I trust that He will provide the way to transport them.

God provided a place for Lydia’s Closet during the mission’s conference, and the Ochoas were able to visit tonight. La hermana was able to find an outfit she loved in the clothes that were donated tonight. Praise the Lord!

A year ago, we moved Lydia’s Closet from our property to its new location at our church, and we left everything there. Today we will load up 30+ totes to take to our church for mission’s conference week. Please pray that we will be a blessing and not a burden and that the visiting missionary families will feel loved and cared for this week.

What a blessing those are who continue to open the doors and welcome people to Lydia’s Closet. Many pastors and missionaries are in town for the Spanish conference, and today they were able to “shop” for things they need. God continues to use this ministry for His glory.

We are thankful for this group of young people (and their Moms) for coming and completing our to-do list before the upcoming events. What a blessing! Serving God and others has no age limits. 🙌💓

With the growth of my daughter and several donations, we have had an abundance of baby girl clothes in NC. I prayed for someone to share with, and a missionary in Guam just announced that she is having a baby girl. I am looking forward to shipping a box to this family. Praise the Lord for opportunities to give!
