Payroll wasn’t supposed to become your second full-time job.
If you’re spending hours every pay period tracking time, fixing mistakes, answering payroll questions, and stressing about compliance, you’re not alone.
Payroll is one of those tasks that seems simple… until it isn’t.
The good news? It doesn’t have to take over your week.
A solid payroll process can save you time, reduce stress, and help you stay focused on actually running your business.
Because your time is better spent growing your business—not chasing timesheets and payroll deadlines.
What’s the most frustrating part of payroll for you?

I wasn’t born knowing bookkeeping, and most business owners aren’t born knowing it either.
You’re expected to be the salesperson, customer service rep, marketer, CEO, project manager, and somehow keep perfect financial records too.
That’s a lot.
Most businesses don’t start with QuickBooks, systems, or organized books. They start with a spreadsheet, a notebook, or a pile of receipts and the intention to “deal with it later.”
Then business gets busy.
And before you know it, you’re months behind and wondering where all your time (and money) went.
If that’s you, you’re not alone. In fact, it’s one of the most common stories I see.
My job isn’t to judge where you’re at.
My job is to help you get organized, understand your numbers, and give you the financial clarity you need to make confident decisions for your business.
Because when you know your numbers, you can grow your business with intention instead of guesswork.

This is me and my family. Just normal, everyday people trying to build a good life, raise good humans, and navigate all the chaos that comes with work, bills, schedules, and everything in between.
That’s why the relationships I build with my clients mean so much to me. When you work with me, you’re not hiring a giant corporation — you’re hiring a real person, a small business owner, and someone who genuinely understands the ups and downs that come with running a business.
I celebrate your wins with you. The big months, the growth, the exciting milestones. But I’m also there during the stressful seasons, the uncertainty, and the moments where you feel overwhelmed and just need someone in your corner.
I never want this to feel purely transactional. I want to know your goals, your story, and what matters to you — because behind every business is a real person and a family that depends on it. And that part will always matter most to me. 🤍

Luxury vs. necessary spending as a business owner… because sometimes the line gets blurry.
As a bookkeeper, I see this happen a lot — business spending gets mixed with personal spending, and sometimes emotional spending gets labeled as “business necessary” when it’s really just a stress purchase in disguise.
And honestly? I get it.
Running a business is a lot. Sometimes you’re tired, overwhelmed, trying to keep up, or convincing yourself that buying the thing will make everything feel a little more organized, professional, or under control.
But the problem is, when personal spending and business spending start blending together, it gets harder to see what your business is actually doing.
Are you profitable?
Are your expenses helping you grow?
Are you overspending in certain areas?
Are you using business funds to cover personal wants?
Are you making decisions based on numbers — or based on how you feel in the moment?
That’s why clean books matter.
Not because every purchase has to be perfect, but because you deserve to know where your money is going and what your business can actually afford.
There’s nothing wrong with investing in your business. There’s nothing wrong with treating yourself either.
But knowing the difference? That’s where the clarity comes in.

Tax season may be over, but the bookkeeping still keeps going. 😅
It’s not always the most exciting part of running a business, but staying on top of it throughout the year makes everything feel a little less chaotic when tax time comes back around.
Clean books help you see where your money is going, what’s actually profitable, and what needs a little more attention before it turns into a bigger problem.
Just your friendly reminder that bookkeeping is not a once-a-year task — even if we all wish it was.
