A glimpse from my CNN Arabic interview on my journey using art — including the creation of We’re Muslim, Don’t Panic — as a tool against Islamophobia since 2011.

For nearly 15 years, I’ve traveled across the country using my art to challenge the hate, ignorance, and discrimination faced by Muslims. Through dance and dialogue, I’ve shared the beauty and humanity of Islam, even when being visibly Muslim meant being misunderstood.

So win hits different. It’s for the kids who were called terrorists in school. For the girls who were bullied for wearing hijab. For everyone who learned to stand tall in faith when the world tried to make us small.

This moment is for everyone who’s worked to change the narrative. 🌙✨
