🌍✈️ The 208 crew has been busy traveling the world, without ever leaving the classroom! This week, students wrapped up their unit on Europe by exploring its geography, cultures, and traditions.

As a sweet ending to their European adventure, they learned that funnel cakes have roots in Dutch culture and originated in Germany. Of course, the best way to learn about history is sometimes by tasting it!

From maps and landmarks to delicious treats, our students are discovering that learning about the world can be both educational and fun. Great job, 208 crew! 🌎

Today, we proudly celebrated our Director of Operations, Haley Damron, as she was honored by the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce with the Educate Award at the Women Mean Business Summit.

This award recognizes exceptional dedication to education, training, and personal development. Through her commitment to creating meaningful learning opportunities and support systems for students and families, Haley has made a lasting impact on our community.

We were especially honored to have our current Board President, past Board President, and our past Executive Director join us in celebrating this well-deserved recognition alongside other inspiring women who are making a real impact in our community.

Today, we were excited to welcome Grace R., a student from Mount Notre Dame, as she completed her Senior Capstone Project with the Cincinnati Center for Autism!

As part of her project, Grace created a fun and engaging summer camp experience for our students, complete with sensory-friendly activities and special goodie bags for everyone to enjoy. Our students had a wonderful time participating in the activities she thoughtfully planned and organized.

We are so grateful for Grace's hard work, creativity, and dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with autism. Thank you, Grace, for sharing your time, talents, and compassion with our students!
