This weather setup through Sunday is dynamic. Each round of rain/storms shaping what comes next. What happens early on will influence timing, location, and how strong storms can become later. This process repeats through Sunday night.

That means details may shift, but the overall message is multiple rounds of storms with some potential to be strong to severe.

There will be plenty of dry pockets. And at times, the most severe storms may be isolated, meaning only a few are impacted.

(THURSDAY 2:40PM update) Quick update on Thursday night/Friday morning's storms. These will probably be loud, and could still pose a risk for high winds. You can see in the hazard-by-hazard breakdown, the tornado threat is pretty low.

What about timing? Broadly between 1am-9am Friday. I've included a few snapshots of Futurecast for a more precise look.

I do anticipate another round of strong storms Friday afternoon, Saturday night, and possibly again Sunday afternoon/night.
