A Design-Build
Deep Foundations & Support of Excavation Contractor

At FSGC, work isn’t limited to building from the ground up. We’re often working below grade and in existing conditions, solving complex challenges where they start beneath the surface.

If your structure is showing signs of instability, micropiles may be the answer. They bypass weak ground and transfer the load to stable soil or rock to help restore foundation stability. Reach out to see if they’re right for your project.

This month we’re recognizing Stephen Houser on his 1-year anniversary with FSGC and his first year in the field after graduating from Missouri S&T as a Project Engineer.

From learning specialized systems like micropiles to seeing how much geostructural work happens below grade and in existing conditions, Stephen has gained hands-on experience across a wide range of projects in his first year with the team.

“I like seeing how everything comes together and understanding what the ground is telling us,” Stephen shared.

Read more about Stephen’s first year, the mentors who helped guide him, and what he’s learned so far in the full Employee Spotlight blog.

Heat Awareness Day reminder from FSGC. When the temperatures climb, staying safe on the job starts with staying ahead of the heat.
We stay protected by hydrating early and often, taking regular breaks, wearing light and breathable clothing, and planning the toughest work for cooler parts of the day whenever possible. We also watch for warning signs from our bodies so we can act before heat stress becomes a danger. Safety comes first, every time.

At FSGC, we provide both temporary and permanent Support of Excavation systems designed to keep projects moving safely below the surface. From supporting excavations during construction to creating long-term underground structural support, our team delivers solutions built for the demands beneath the ground.

Whether it’s soldier piles and lagging, tiebacks, shoring, or specialty geostructural systems, we help create the support needed before the structure above can begin.
Built below the surface. Engineered to last.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the foundation of the freedoms we have today.

From all of us at FSGC, we remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice. 🇺🇸

It was a great week in Frisco, TX at the Design-Build Institute of America Regional Conference. The FSGC team enjoyed connecting with industry partners, meeting new faces, and spending time with everyone who stopped by our table at both the golf tournament and conference.

This year’s “Innovation in Action” theme was evident throughout the event, and we’re grateful to DBIA for bringing together such a strong design-build community. Thanks again to everyone who took the time to visit with our team.
