What a great day!! Coach Troy was at the Boys and Girls Club this afternoon at the "Fallapalooza." Lots of hugs and hearts given out as well as playing some of the games there. Thank you everyone who helped organize the event.
This evening, the LIFE Cycle Project headed over to help Marshallese Educational Initiative bring awareness to breast cancer and domestic violence. We had many conversations, handed out information about taking care of our bodies and gave out boxes of feminine hygiene products. We also took time to honor those who didn't make it due to breast cancer and domestic violence. This is the 4th year for this event. Thanks for inviting us!

Sometimes we all get a little weary. We've had to make some big decisions these lasts few weeks and it's been rather emotional. BUT TODAY, we received some great news.

Two clients came in and one I ran into in the community. All three of them had wonderful news to share!! They were excited to see us and share they now have a job, an apartment and are doing good. Each smile was priceless! Thank you T, S, and N for trusting us with your story. Thank you especially today for giving us an update and reassuring us the work we do matters.

As we pack up The Connector since our lease is up, we have a little more energy. We love serving in our community. Please keep us in your thoughts as we leave a space that holds so many memories of listening to the story so we can meet the need.

What an amazing day! Over 75 boxes of period supplies given out to help end period poverty. We saw lots of friends and made new ones at the Back To School CommUNITY Bash. Thank you Squire Jehegan, Monique Jones, and The Historic St. James Missionary Baptist Church for hosting at Yvonne Richardson Community Center.
